what is the cheese club?
The Cheese Club is for all of our customers who can not get into The Cheese Shop as often as they would like and are therefore dissatisfied with the cheese that they have to buy elsewhere. It is also for those who would simply like a long, enjoyable education by being exposed to cheeses that they would not normally come by. Cheese Club membership also entitles the holder to a 10% discount on any purchase in the Cafe or Larder here at Richmond Hill.
how does it work?
Once a member has paid the $38.50 annual registration (GST inclusive) and returned the form overleaf, they then receive, approximately every seven weeks for twelve months, an invitation to order the current offer. These offers will comprise of several cheeses, which have been chosen for their seasonal quality and interest. The cheeses on offer will be at less than retail prices, allowing you to recoup your initial registration fee. Members are only obliged to accept one offer a year to remain a member and can order as few or as many cheeses from each offer as they wish. Members are also able to order offers as gifts and have them sent to friends and family around Australia. Additional items that are not part of the offer can be arranged to be sent with their box of cheese and each offer will include a ‘Wine List’ of wines that marry well with the cheeses and a ‘Shopping List’ full of good things from our Larder. Members are not restricted to only ordering from the offer and may order items at other times throughout the year.
Once we receive your order, we then send the cheese to you on a pre-advised day, by overnight courier (although a few areas may require a two-day service). The cheeses are packed in a specially designed cool-box with information sheets about the cheese and how to use and store it properly.
Memberships can be given to friends or family as a gift, enabling them to then receive the invitations to order offers in the future. A Certificate of Registration can be sent to the recipient in this situation.
how do you join?
To register for The Cheese Club, simply fill out the form on the reverse of this page and return it to us. We will then send you information regarding the next offer – after that all you do is order and enjoy the cheese. In order to provide quality of cheese and service “The Cheese Club” memberships available are limited, so from time to time there may be a short waiting period.
